MCH Group: Executive Board changes
Christophe Biollaz has been appointed new Chief Financial Officer as of 1
January 2014, as successor to Markus Haering who is taking retirement.
Christoph Neuenschwander, Chief Development Officer and the Board of Director's
delegate to Winkler Multi Media Events AG , is leaving the MCH Group on 31
December 2013.
Christophe Biollaz who is currently working for the Oettinger Davidoff Group
Switzerland/Basel, will be joining the MCH Group on 1 December 2013, where he
will be taking over the function of Chief Financial Officer (CFO) as a member of
the Executive Board. Since completing his studies, the 45-year-old graduate
business economist, who lives in Therwil (BL), has held managerial positions in
a number of companies in Switzerland and abroad, including Novartis, Syngenta,
Hero and Lindt & Sprüngli. Since 2012 he has held responsibility within the
Oettinger Davidoff Group for strategy, business development and finances in
Europe.
In his new function as CFO of the MCH Group, Christophe Biollaz will be
succeeding Markus Haering, who will be taking retirement on 31 May 2014. Markus
Haering has been CFO of the former Messe Basel and current MCH Group since 1990.
Christoph Neuenschwander, Chief Development Officer (CDO) has decided to leave
the MCH Group on 31 December 2013 in order to take up new professional
challenges. He joined the MCH Group as a member of the Executive Board on 1
January 2009 and, since October 2010, has been primarily responsible for the
operational management of Winkler Multi Media Events AG in Wohlen as the Board
of Directors' delegate. He will continue to be available in a consultative
capacity even after leaving the MCH Group.
Christian Künzli, who is 44 years old, will be taking on the operational
management of Winkler Multi Media Events AG. He has been with the Nüssli Group
in Hüttwilen for 18 years, most recently as Head of the Events Division and a
member of the group management. He will be joining the company in October 2013.
On 1 January 2014, Jean-Marc Devaud, who is a member of the Executive Board and
managing director of subsidiary Expomobilia AG, will be taking on top-level
managerial responsibility for the MCH Group's services companies - Expomobilia
AG, Winkler Multi Media Events AG and Rufener events Ltd. - as Chief Event
Services Officer (CESO) and Board of Directors' delegate.
