Cermaq ASA: Update on EWOS sales process

Reference is made to the stock exchange notice of 17 June 2013 concerning an
offer for Cermaq's EWOS business.
Cermaq has, as stated in the notice, provided the named Investor Group three
weeks of exclusive access to EWOS management. This exclusivity period has now
lapsed, but negotiations are ongoing and progressing in accordance with agreed
and expected timelines. In addition, Cermaq has received another competitive
indicative bid for EWOS which will be pursued in parallel.
As previously announced, the aim remains to have a definitive agreement for the
sale of EWOS executed in mid-July. An extraordinary general meeting to authorize
the sale is scheduled for 11 July 2013.
