ADP Regional Employment Report: California, Texas, Florida, New York, Pennsylvania and Illinois Show Largest Job Increases in June
South Atlantic, Pacific and West South Central U.S. Census Bureau Divisions Generate Largest Share of New Jobs for Second Consecutive Month
(firmenpresse) - ROSELAND, NJ -- (Marketwired) -- 07/10/13 -- Private sector employment increased in all nine U.S. Census Bureau Divisions during the month of June 2013, according to the monthly (SM), which is produced by , a leading provider of global solutions, in collaboration with Moody's Analytics, Inc. The ADP Regional Employment Report measures monthly changes in regional nonfarm private employment on a seasonally adjusted basis.
"All nine U.S. Census Bureau Divisions recorded private sector job growth in June, with the South Atlantic, Pacific and West South Central generating the most new jobs for the second consecutive month," said Ahu Yildirmaz, senior director of the ADP Research Institute®. "All 29 individual U.S. states, plus the District of Columbia, tracked by the ADP Regional Employment Report, also recorded gains of varying degrees in June, with the largest job increases occurring in California, Texas, Florida, New York, Pennsylvania and Illinois. In fact, these six states accounted for more than half of all new private sector jobs for the month of June."
On July 3, 2013, the ADP National Employment Report® reported total U.S. private sector employment increased by a total of 188,000 jobs from May to June.

The ADP Regional Employment Report(SM), which is produced by ADP in collaboration with Moody's Analytics, Inc., is a monthly estimate of private nonfarm employment in nine U.S. Census Bureau divisions, as well as 29 U.S. states, plus the District of Columbia. The report is a measure of employment derived from an anonymous subset of roughly 406,000 U.S. business clients, which employ more than 23 million workers in the U.S.

The ADP National Employment Report®, which is produced by ADP in collaboration with Moody's Analytics, Inc., is a measure of employment derived from an anonymous subset of roughly 406,000 U.S. business clients, which employ more than 23 million workers in the U.S. The ADP Small Business Report® is a monthly estimate of private nonfarm employment among companies in the U.S. with 1-49 employees and is a subset of the ADP National Employment Report. The data for all three reports is collected for pay periods that can be interpolated to include the week of the 12th of each month, and processed with statistical methodologies similar to those used by the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics to compute employment from its monthly survey of establishments. Due to this processing, this subset is modified to make it indicative of national employment levels; therefore, the resulting employment changes computed for the ADP National Employment Report are not representative of changes in ADP's total base of U.S. business clients.
