HERING SCHUPPENER once again number 1 in the first half of 2013
Frankfurt, July 11, 2013. HERING SCHUPPENER Consulting maintains its
leadership position in the M&A league tables by financial information
provider mergermarket after the first six months of this year. In the first
half-year the strategic consultancy for communications once again topped
the list of communication advisors involving in German M&A transactions -
both in terms of volume and value of transactions.
From January to June 2013 HERING SCHUPPENER advised on 11 mergers and
acquisitions involving German companies. The total value of transactions
reached US$ 26.85 billion (around EUR20.5 billion). The volume is thus $4
billion up on the same period of the previous year despite an overall weak
M&A market environment. From 2004 on, HERING SCHUPPENER Consulting has
accompanied 278 transactions with a total value of US$ 409.98 (around
EUR306.68 billion) and has been leading the M&A league tables since then.
