European Academy for Taxes, Economics & Law(firmenpresse) - The European Union has various funds and instruments to support stakeholders such as universities, research centres and companies in the fields of research and development and the commercialisation of research results. For the different funds different rules for financial accounting, reporting and auditing apply.
Regardless of the source of funding, projects must be well-planned and an in-depth knowledge of the financial management procedures and requirements for the EU-funded projects must be guaranteed. At this interactive seminar participants will learn about eligibility rules, financial reporting and audits and gain insights to changes in financial management of EU research projects that will await you beyond 2013 from key European experts from the following institutions:
•External Audit Unit, DG Research and Innovation, European Commission
•Section of Funds Management, Financial Department, ETH Zürich, Switzerland
•National Contact Point FP7, Estonian Research Council, Estonia
•Finance & Control, Faculty of Science, Utrecht University, the Netherlands
•Resources Planning and Control, European Organization for Nuclear Research (CERN), Switzerland
