KESKO CORPORATION STOCK EXCHANGE RELEASE 12.07.2013 AT 09.00
The Kesko Group's sales, excluding VAT, in June 2013 totalled ?798.9 million,
down 5.0%.
In Kesko's food trade, sales in June were ?369.7 million, an increase of 0.6%
compared to the previous year. In June, the number of delivery days was one less
than in the previous year.
In the home and speciality goods trade, sales in June were ?102.3 million, a
decrease of 13.8%. Sales performance was particularly impacted by the decrease
in department store sales, as well as network changes in Musta Pörssi and
Intersport Russia.
In the building and home improvement trade, sales in June were ?242.1 million, a
decrease of 9.2%. Sales in Finland were down 7.7%. In June, the number of
delivery days was one less than in the previous year. Sales abroad decreased by
10.2% in terms of euros. This is partly attributable to the changes that took
place in the chain in Norway in 2012.
In the car and machinery trade, sales in June were ?98.0 million, a decrease of
3.0%. VV-Auto's sales in June were ?62.9 million, up 1.4%. Konekesko's sales in
June were ?35.1 million, a decrease of 10.0% from the previous year.

In June 2013, the number of selling days in Kesko's wholesale in Finland was
19, which was one less than in the previous year. The total number of selling
days in January-June was one less than in the previous year. The number of
retail selling days in June was 29, which was the same as in the previous year.
The total number of retail selling days in January-June was one less than in the
previous year.
