Kiddie Academy Hosts "Storytime LIVE!" Events
Children Will See a Story Come to Life With Guest Appearance by Stories' Lead Characters
(firmenpresse) - BALTIMORE, MD -- (Marketwired) -- 07/15/13 -- Educationally focused child care provider Kiddie Academy will host Storytime LIVE! events at participating Kiddie Academy locations on July 27 and August 24, inviting children and their parents to come and enjoy a story highlighted by a visit from the story's lead character.
"Our Storytime LIVE! events are open to everyone -- our current students, new friends who would like to learn more about us, or anyone who would simply like to share a special experience with their child," said Renee Thompson, director of education for Kiddie Academy. "Reading together helps prepare children for school and for life by introducing new ideas and building essential speech, communication and literacy skills."
The events are free and begin at 11:00 a.m. at participating Kiddie Academy locations throughout the U.S. The lead character from the featured story at each location will make an appearance at the events, so Thompson reminds parents to bring their cameras to capture their child's smiles. Parents are encouraged to visit to find more information about the date of the Storytime LIVE! event at each participating location and to register online.
