Encana Stampede Event Brings in Much Needed Support for the Calgary Food Bank
(firmenpresse) - CALGARY, ALBERTA -- (Marketwired) -- 07/18/13 -- Encana employees, families, suppliers and supporters came together for their annual Stampede BBQ. Generosity abounded and the Encana Race Against Hunger campaign was an amazing success with Encana matching donations for a total of $40,000 in support of the Calgary Food Bank.
"Our employees and the community have really come together in order to support the many families that have been affected by the flood," says Darci-Jane McAulay, Group Lead, Community Relations at Encana. "The results of this year's Race Against Hunger Stampede barbecue doubled this year. We want to thank our employees for thinking about the community this Stampede season."
