Corporate News: ZoëMode announces Xbox One and Playstation4 games in 2013
Eindhoven, July 22, 2013 - Catalis SE is proud to announce that ZoëMode, a
subsidiary of Catalis SE, has been announced as an official launch partner
for Microsoft's much anticipated Xbox One. ZoëMode is developing
Powerstar Golf, one of only three official Microsoft sports titles going on
sale with the release of the new console.
Paul Mottram, Studio Head of ZoëMode commented 'We're incredibly happy to
be working so closely with Microsoft on an Xbox One title. It's a true
passion project for the team and showcases a completely different side to
the studio. The response at the Electronic Entertainment Expo E3 was
overwhelmingly positive and we can't wait to hear what consumers think when
it's released at launch'.
Another big announcement made at E3 came from games publisher Majesco
Entertainment, who released details of Zumba World Party - an exhilarating
fitness and rhythm game developed in collaboration with ZoëMode. ZoëMode
has been developing titles for the Zumba franchise since 2011, which today,
has recorded lifetime sales in excess of 9 million units.
Dominic Wheatley, Chief Executive Officer of Kuju Entertainment commented
'Working with the Zumba franchise is a real privilege, and our involvement
with World Party has afforded us the chance to push the boundaries of
creativity and technical mastery to a new level. The product relies
heavily on video and motion capture technologies - areas in which our team
are exceptionally talented. The resulting product is hugely engaging, and
we are confident in its potential at retail.'
Zumba World Party will be released on current- and next-generation consoles
in fall 2013.
