The platform, with nearly 20,000 members, is designed to provide Internet users -- and especially those in emerging markets such as Africa, Brazil and India -- with one interactive site that combines social networking, video entertainment, gaming, shopping and more.

The Vir2o network has been in beta testing since early April 2013.
