On 14 February 2011 the world's leading producer of expanded glass granulate, Dennert Poraver GmbH from Schlüsselfeld in Bavaria, took over the assets of Poraver North America in Canada.
(firmenpresse) - The Canadian company, situated in Innisfil near Toronto, is teaming up with a strong and experienced partner to position itself sustainably and successfully on the North American market.

The combination of both production sites thus opens up new growth opportunities for PORAVER, especially in Canada, the USA and Mexico. The lightweight aggregate and its unique properties
Poraver is the prize-winning eco-friendly lightweight aggregate made of 100% recycled glass. It is manufactured according to a special procedure developed by Dennert. Round particles, free of crushed beads, with microscopic diameters of between 0.04 and max. 16 mm are used. Poraver is light, yet very strong and has excellent heat-insulating and sound-absorbing properties and is also alkali-resistant.
Furthermore, Poraver is non-flammable and does not provide a breeding ground for bacteria. These numerous quality characteristics make Poraver a tried-and-tested lightweight aggregate for use in products in virtually all building and construction chemical industries. From plasters, mortars, tile adhesives, stoppers, paints and cement blocks as well as wall systems to facing board profiles, façade and soundproofing panels, textured wallpaper and décor products: the use of Poraver has a positive effect on material and processing characteristics, product quality and durability.
