Prophecy Announces AGM Voting Results
(firmenpresse) - VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA -- (Marketwired) -- 08/01/13 -- Prophecy Coal Corp. ("Prophecy" or the "Company") (TSX: PCY) (OTCQX: PRPCF) (FRANKFURT: 1P2) is pleased to announce the voting results for election of its Board of Directors at the Annual and Special General Meeting of Shareholders held on July 30, 2013 in Vancouver, British Columbia. The director nominees as listed in the Management Information Circular dated June 27, 2013 were elected as directors of the Company at the meeting to serve until the next Annual General Meeting. According to the proxies received and voted by ballot, the results are as follows:
(i)There were 19,935,726 non-votes reported by the scrutineers in respect of the above motion. The percentages reported in this news release are calculated on the votes cast in person and by proxy at the meeting which total 29,310,933 with respect to the above mentioned motion.

The Company has not adopted a majority voting policy, but will be doing so in the forthcoming months.
