CompuGroup reports second quarter results, revises outlook
Koblenz - August 2, 2013: CompuGroup Medical AG today presented the
financial report for the second quarter of 2013. The company, one of the
leading global providers of eHealth solutions, achieved revenue of EUR
109.5 million, compared to EUR 111.7 million in the second quarter 2012.
Consolidated EBITDA amounted to EUR 18.7 million compared to EUR 27.2
million in 2012.
With this result, the weakness in revenue and profitability seen in the
first three months of 2013 has continued in the second quarter. While the
current analysis shows organic growth to return in the second half of the
year and prudent cost measures have been taken to restore profitability,
the outlook for the full year 2013 has been revised to revenue in the range
of EUR 458 to EUR 463 million with EBITDA in the range of EUR 97 million to
EUR 100 million, which results in business not growing from 2012 to 2013 as
previously expected.
