nuCourse Was Recently Named as One of the 2013 Best Places to Work in Orange County
(firmenpresse) - GARDEN GROVE, CA -- (Marketwired) -- 08/07/13 -- This survey and awards program was created in 2009 and is a project of the Orange County Business Journal and Best Companies Group. The program was designed to identify, recognize and honor the best places of employment in Orange County, CA, benefiting the county's economy, its workforce and businesses.
"It's part of our mission as an employer to have a great company culture, but it's a challenge to measure how well we're doing. This recognition from our teammates is an honor, and a milestone in our company history," said Nick Seedorf, Founder and President of nuCourse.
To be considered for participation, companies had to fulfill the following eligibility requirements:
Have at least 15 employees working in Orange County;
Be a for-profit or not-for-profit business or government entity;
Be a publicly or privately held business;
Have a facility in Orange County; and
Must be in business a minimum of 1 year.
Companies from across the county entered the two-part process to determine the The first part consisted of evaluating each company's workplace policies, practices, and demographics. The second part consisted of an employee survey to measure the employee experience. The combined scores determined the top companies and the final ranking.
