Berlin-based software start-up Pidoco GmbH celebrates its fifth birthday
(PresseBox) - Berlin-based start-up Pidoco GmbH are celebrating the fifth anniversary since the founding of the company this August. Pidoco is an independent software producer of an SaaS solution whose prototyping software Pidoco Usability Suite was first conceived as part of an entrepreneurship project at the renowned Hasso Plattner Institute, Potsdam. The prototyping suite is currently used by commercial customers around the globe and has won several distinctions - most recently the IT Innovation Award (Innovationspreis IT) at this year's CeBIT trade fair.
Pidoco was founded in August 2008 by Volker Gersabeck, Silvan Golega and Tino Truppel, who met at Hasso Plattner Institute, along with CEO Philipp Huy, after winning prizes at several startup competitions. A seed investment from the High-Tech Gründerfonds (High-Tech Investment Funds) helped refine and extend the product to become a fully collaborative platform for creating simulations of websites and mobile applications without having to write code. With its mission to help customers design better applications and websites through early testing, Pidoco quickly became popular due to its ease of use and collaboration features. Today it is used in over 50 countries.
Pidoco is celebrating by offering a discount of 25% to new customers. Philipp Huy, CEO of Pidoco, said of the occasion "We are thrilled to be celebrating our fifth birthday. It's a big milestone and we would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who has supported us along the way". There will not be much time for celebration, as the Pidoco team is hard at work on new releases of the tool. Philipp Huy says "We have some exciting updates planned. You can expect to see new features over the next year, as we work on how prototyping fits into the mobile market."
