Protegrity Announces Settlement of Patent Litigation Against Ingrian / SafeNet
(firmenpresse) - STAMFORD, CT -- (Marketwired) -- 08/12/13 -- Protegrity Corporation, the leading provider of end-to-end enterprise data security solutions, announced today that it has reached a mutually agreed-to settlement in its patent dispute with Ingrian / SafeNet. The terms are not being disclosed at this time.

The original lawsuit filed in 2008 against Ingrain (now SafeNet) included: U.S. Patent 6,321,201, entitled "Data Security System for a Database Having Multiple Encryption Levels Applicable on a Data Element Value Level," U.S. Patent 7,325,129, entitled "Method for Altering Encryption Status in a Relational Database in a Continuous Process," and U.S. Patent 6,963,980, entitled "Combined Hardware and Software Based Encryption of Databases." An additional lawsuit was filed against SafeNet for U.S. Patent 8,402,281, entitled "Data Security System for a Database."
