Record-Breaking 100,000th Visitor Attends Lincoln: The Exhibition at the Reagan Library

Mother and daughter duo Betty and Samantha from Ventura County came to the Reagan Library today specifically to tour the Lincoln exhibit. Finding out they were visitors 99,999 and 100,000, they remarked, "This is so exciting! This never happens to us!" Daughter Samantha had purchased a Reagan Library membership for her mother Betty at Christmas, and although Betty had visited the Library a few times since then, she hadn't yet toured the Lincoln exhibit. "It's a mother-daughter day for us! We can't wait to see the exhibit." said Samantha.
With its unique and educational content for all ages, has a broad appeal to families with children of all ages, as well as to seniors and the general public alike. Key items on display include President Lincoln-signed copies of the Emancipation Proclamation and 13th Amendment, President Lincoln's famous stovepipe hat and pocket watch, the bloody pillow on which he lay his head the night he died, and the Oscar winning sets and nominated costumes from the Steven Spielberg directed 'Lincoln' movie.

Thirty renowned Lincoln collectors and DreamWorks Studios joined the Reagan Library for a major Abraham Lincoln Exhibit.
