The expansion reflects the firm's commitment to providing world-class expertise to the corridor's major companies in industries including pharmaceutical, medical device, healthcare, telecom, and oil and gas, as well as to leading law firms.
BRG Director Edward Buthusiem, who also leads the firm's Corporate Compliance and Risk Management Advisory services, will head the new office. Mr. Buthusiem advises clients on a variety of business, regulatory, operational, intellectual property, litigation, transactional, and compliance matters, with particular emphasis in legal operations, commercial and strategic transactions, technology licensing arrangements, business formation and planning, securities, mergers and acquisitions, compliance, and corporate governance. He previously served as the general counsel of two major divisions of two multinational companies and as an attorney in the business, securities, and international law practice groups at two global law firms.
