Ceapro Announces Signing of Growing Forward 2 Agreement
(firmenpresse) - EDMONTON, ALBERTA -- (Marketwired) -- 08/13/13 -- Ceapro Inc. (TSX VENTURE: CZO) is pleased to announce that it has signed an Agri-Processing Automation and Efficiency Grant Agreement with Alberta Agriculture and Rural Development. This program operates pursuant the Growing Forward 2 Agreement.
Under the terms and conditions of the Agreement signed, Ceapro is eligible for a contribution of up to $673,000 by way of grant for certain eligible capital and non-capital expenses that are approved.
"The funding provided by this program will be utilized to support equipment and related costs for our new manufacturing facility currently under construction in Edmonton. We are grateful for the support provided by the Government of Alberta and its commitment to growing the innovative agri-processing sector that Ceapro participates in", said Gilles Gagnon, President and CEO of Ceapro. "We look forward to commercializing several new products to be manufactured in this facility and adding value to the Alberta agriculture industry" he added.
