Wirecard AG: positive business growth in the first six months/Q2 of

Aschheim (Munich). After a successful first half of fiscal 2013, Wirecard
AG can also expect its business to grow positively in the next six months.
Consolidated revenues increased in the first half of 2013 by around 22
percent from EUR 177.9 million to EUR 216.1 million. In the second quarter
of 2013 consolidated revenues lifted by 22 percent to EUR 115.1 million
(Q2/2012: EUR 94.3 million).
EBITDA increased in the first half of 2013 by 14 percent from EUR 49.4
million to EUR 56.2 million. After adjustment for the investments in the
new Mobile Payment division that were recognized in income, EBITDA growth
in this period would have totaled 23 percent.
In the second quarter of 2013 EBITDA lifted to EUR 29.9 million (Q2/2012:
EUR 26.1 million).
During the first six months of the current fiscal year, the transaction
volume processed via the Wirecard platform increased by around 29 percent
to EUR 12.1 billion. EUR 1.8 billion or by around 15 percent of this total
was generated in Asia.
The cash flow from operating activities after adjustment for transaction
volumes of a transitory nature totaled EUR 41.5 million after the first six
months of 2013.

payment strategies throughout all sales channels; offline, online or
mobile.
'We will continue to build on our leading position in our core disciplines
and are taking an optimistic view of our business in the second half of the
year,' commented Dr. Markus Braun, Wirecard AG's CEO.
Wirecard AG's Management Board has confirmed its forecast of recording
EBITDA of between EUR 120 million and EUR 130 million in fiscal year 2013,
considering the investments in the Mobile Payment division.
