Westlake Announces Termination of Letter of Intent
(firmenpresse) - VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA -- (Marketwired) -- 08/15/13 -- Westlake Capital Ltd. ("Westlake" or the "Company") (TSX VENTURE: WLK.P) announces that in June 2013, it signed a letter of intent for the proposed acquisition of a private Canadian gold exploration company, which was to be the Company's Qualifying Transaction. The transaction was subject to a number of conditions, in particular to financing, and due to very difficult market conditions, those conditions could not be met. Accordingly, the letter of intent is now terminated.
The Company will now be applying for reinstatement of trading of its common shares and will continue in its efforts to find an appropriate Qualifying Transaction.
