New member of Group Executive Management - Virve Elisabeth Meesak, Group Executive Vice President

We are pleased to announce that Ms. Virve Elisabeth Meesak has been appointed to
a newly created position in Group Executive Management as Group Executive Vice
President, Global Human Resources and will take up her new position 1 September
2013.
Virve Elisabeth Meesak, age 53, is a Swedish citizen and has since 2010 been an
independent Human Resource consultant specialised in change management,
leadership training and executive coaching. 2008 to 2010 Virve Meesak was Human
Resource Director for Alstom Power Services, North East Europe and from 2005 to
2008 she held the position as Vice President, Human Resources Sandvik Mining and
Construction AB. Previous to 2005 Virve Meesak had a number of Vice President
positions as head of Human Resources in SEB Merchant Banking, Perstorp AB,
Philips Consumer Communications Singapore and Electrolux Singapore.
Virve Meesak, brings with her a broad experience within international human
resource development and global change processes.
Virve Meesak holds a Bachelor of Science in psychology and behaviourism from
Stockholm University alongside a number of programs within Economics, Executive
Leadership and Coaching.
The new Human Resource position in Group Executive Management has been created
in an effort to effectively strengthen the FLSmidth Group's competitiveness by
focusing more on strategic human resource management.
The Board looks forward to welcoming Virve Meesak as a new member of Group
Executive Management.
