Reports in Qatar media states that FLSmidth in a consortium with Sixco has
entered into an agreement with Qatar Primary Materials Co. (QPMC) for supply of
a complete Material Handling harbour and stockyard system to be located in
Mesaieed Industrial City, Qatar.
FLSmidth confirms that this information is correct. However, final negotiations
still remain. If and when a final agreement is reached and becomes effective, we
shall immediately inform the market.
FLSmidth is continuously negotiating many potential contracts on the global
market. To be considered binding, such contracts require not only signing but
also exchange of down payment and guarantees, etc.
