Swinerton Breaks Ground on Milano Development
(firmenpresse) - BELLEVUE, WA -- (Marketwired) -- 08/28/13 -- Bellevue Mayor Conrad Lee and city council members attended a today for a new high-end residential project by family-owned developer Milano Townhomes LLC. General contractor is partnering with architect on the project, which will include four separate buildings on nearly two acres.
Swinerton, which has a regional office near the project site, is a powerhouse among the local building community and is currently constructing four other projects in Bellevue. "From our home base in Bellevue we have forged deep community ties in the Northwest," said Swinerton's Executive Vice President Eric Foster. "The region is seeing tremendous growth in the residential sector, and we're proud to be at the core of it." The Milano apartments will join a portfolio of nearly 2,500 multifamily residential units the 125-year-old contractor is currently building in Washington, Oregon, and Northern California.
Centrally located with easy access to both I-405 and SR 520, the new Milano development will meet demand for luxury rental townhomes with spacious three- and four-bedroom units. The homes will feature multiple-car garages, private decks and driveways, landscaped patios, and high-end finishes like granite slab countertops, nine-foot vaulted bedroom ceilings, video intercom systems, and digital utility metering. Construction is slated to be complete in fall 2014.
