The company's principal business activity is the acquisition, exploration and
development of mineral properties in British Columbia, Canada.
The company owns the exclusive option to purchase up to a 100% undivided
interest in the Cat Mountain gold/copper prospect in northern BC. The 5,900
hectare property, consisting of 20 contiguous mineral tenures, is located
approximately 300 kilometres northwest of Prince George. The property is
strategically located approximately 16 kilometers north of the Teck
Cominco/Lorraine project. There is road access to the southern and central area
of the property and 4 wheel drive access to the main mineral showings.
To date up to $5 million has been spent by previous property owners on Rift
Valley's property including a 3D IP program, and extensive diamond drilling
throughout the claims.
Rift Valley is in possession of much of the prior geological assessment reports
generated by previous owners, and created a current, and up to date NI 43-101 in
May 2012, which is available on Sedar.com.
Rift Valley's strategy is to compile decades worth of data to create a composite
geological model of the property for the first time. The resulting geological
model will allow Rift Valley to more accurately identify a zone or zones of
interest for further exploration and possible preliminary calculation of a
mineral resource. Rift Valley also plans to complete a two part exploration
program in 2013 to further test zones of interest.
