Hamilton, Bermuda, August 29, 2013 - Seadrill Limited ("the Company") has
through market purchases executed on August 28, repurchased 300,000 of the
Company's own common stock at an average price of NOK273.5 per share.
After this transaction the Company has a holding of 327,016 treasury shares.
The Total Return Swap agreement entered into on June 4(th), 2013 at the same
time has been reduced from 2 million shares to 1.7 million shares.
