SFC Patrick Mulhill Receives CSM Virgil R. Williams Scholarship
(firmenpresse) - KANSAS CITY, MO -- (Marketwired) -- 08/30/13 -- Sergeant First Class (SFC) Patrick Mulhill, a Grantham University Bachelor of Business Administration - Human Resource Management student from Bozeman, MT, was awarded the CSM Virgil R. Williams Scholarship from Grantham University, , and the Enlisted Association of the National Guard of the United States (EANGUS). The award was announced at the 42nd annual EANGUS Conference and Expo held in Sioux Falls, SD.
The annual full scholarship, valued up to $38,600, includes tuition, textbooks, software and fees toward the completion of a degree at Grantham University. To be considered for the award, candidates must be a member, spouse or dependent of EANGUS, and complete a personal essay detailing their desire for education and need for financial assistance.
"I need to set the example for my children by completing my degree," states SFC Mulhill, a 4.0 student at Grantham. "This will also help me to provide for them when I am able to retire from the military. I plan on starting a second career when I retire and feel having a college degree is one way that will give me a step up from others who are applying for the same job."
