The American First Financial Inc. ( Ticker: AFRS , WKN : A0YG8L ) , holding
company, provider of payment services as well as corporate and real estate
financial services, has merged with the Kennedy Capital Corp. and
implemented its business operations.
As announced in Corporate News 02.07.2013 Kennedy Capital Corp. has merged
with American First Financial Inc. and will operate in the future under the
name American First Financial Inc. In this context, the entire operations ,
investments as well as assets of Kennedy Capital was brought into American
First Financial .
The American First Financial Inc. is listed on the American OTC market with
the ticker symbol: AFRS , WKN : A0YG8L .
In the Corporate News 02/07/2013 we announced to list American First
Financial Inc. on the Berlin Stock Exchange as part of a dual listing. This
application was rejected . Thus, the shares is currently only tradable on
the OTC market in the U.S.. However, the Company continues to seek a dual
listing on a German stock exchange during the year .
For existing investors of Kennedy Capital as well as future investors of
First American Financial, Inc. however, this is not a disadvantage, since
stocks of OTC listed companies can be traded electronically worldwide .
It was reported in the Corporate News 02/07/2013 that the existing
investors of Kennedy Capital Corp. receive share certificates with a
vesting period of three months for your previously held shares. The Board
has now decided to issue electronic tradable shares to previous
shareholders no later than 01/11/2013 to avoid further delays or
organizational processing times. The 5% bonus shares for existing
shareholders of Kennedy Capital Corp. are , as advertised, shipped
shortly. Here a waiting period until 01/08/2014 has to be observed.
