UNITY ENERGY CORP ("UTY-V") Welcomes Allan Mcnutt To Its Exploration Advisory Board
Unity Energy Corp. is pleased to announce the appointment of Allan
McNutt P.Geo. to its Exploration Advisory Board. Mr. McNutt is currently
overseeing preparations for a ground resistivity survey over target zones
at the Company's Waterbury Lake Project. The survey may also be extended to
include the Company's Lampin Lake and Close Lake Projects.
Allan McNutt is a geologist with expertise in project evaluation
and exploration for uranium, base metal and gold exploration programs in
Canada and the US. His experience includes grassroots exploration to ore
resource estimation in a wide variety of geological and geographical
environments. Mr McNutt is a graduate of McGill University and a member of
the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of British
Columbia.
With over 30 years experience in the resource sector, Allan brings
an extensive uranium-specific background to the Company having first worked
in the Athabasca Basin, Saskatchewan in 1975. Allan was VP Exploration and
later VP Corporate Acquisitions for Titan Uranium (2007-2010) and Manager
of Exploration for Dejour Enterprises Ltd. (2005-2007). Prior to this, he
served for 14 years as Senior Geologist and District Geologist with Rio
Algom Exploration Inc. Before that, he spent seven years with Saskatchewan
Mining Development Corporation (now Cameco), where as Joint Venture
Geologist, he was involved in the delineation of the Dawn Lake uranium
deposits and the discovery of the Cigar Lake deposit. Mr. McNutt is a
"Qualified Person" as defined by National Instrument 43-101.
