MOTIVIDEO POISED TO MEET URGENT HEALTH INDUSTRY NEEDS
New Brunswick, Canada Motivideo Systems, Inc. (GXG:MOTV) announced today
that the beta version of its revolutionary weight loss video coaching app
is completed and that its initial commercial release will occur in the
fourth quarter of this year in conjunction with Rapid Nutrition Ltd's
(GXG:RNL) weight loss line, 'SystemLS(TM),.
'While our first product is poised to capture a share of the $60 Billion
consumer weight-loss market in the US, it will also have important
application in coming calendar quarters in the international arena,' says
CEO, Robert Whitmore. 'The company also has other products in development
that address important areas including smoking cessation, diabetes care,
depression, stress, heart disease and others.'
The company's management and business development leaders have entered into
talks with pharmaceutical companies, academic institutions including the
Harvard Institute of Lifestyle Medicine, ProChange Behavior Systems, and
Palo Alto Medical Foundation, as well as major health care providers,
insurers, military contractors and governmental agencies. 'The reaction
has been unanimous', continues Whitmore. 'Industry leaders realize patient
involvement in self-care guidelines and in the maintenance of healthy
lifestyles is essential to meet today's health challenges.'
Motivideo CTO and cofounder, Dwight Marcus, adds, 'The use of video may be
the only scalable way to meet this challenge. Motivideo's one-on-one video
coaching tools, which have the ability to craft personalized, engaging
media coaching experiences on-the-fly for each user, are based on a suite
of patents and have never before been available.' Industry experts who
have helped develop the system perceive Motivideo's coaching system as
perhaps the most powerful tool yet developed to meet behavioral health
challenges such as being overweight.
Since its inception in 2012, Motivideo Systems, Inc. and its wholly owned
Southern California operating subsidiary, Motivate Health Technologies,
Inc., have finalized a license agreement which grants Motivideo exclusive
access in the health and wellness field to the unique patented technology
held by NTECH Properties, Inc. that makes the Motivideo Coaching System
possible. Motivideo has acquired a seven percent (7%) stake in NTECH. In
association with NTECH and technology inventor, Dwight Marcus, the company
has formed VuShaper LLC and retains a thirty-eight percent (38%) stake.
VuShaper, LLC, developed the technology that powers the Motivideo Coaching
System and will market the technology to a variety of industries.
Motivideo has assembled a stellar management and advisory team, which will
be announced in coming weeks. It has penned a joint venture with Rapid
Nutrition Ltd (GXG:RNL) for the joint launch of Rapid Nutrition's
consumable product line which agreement included a $2.5 million USD stock
swap. The company has commenced discussions with a number of follow-on
strategic customers. The company's revenues will be derived from user fees,
subscriptions, advertising and sponsorships, as well as revenue sharing and
fee arrangements with affiliate marketing organizations, vendors of heath
industry products and services, and corporate and governmental partners.
