Interactive Data Appoints Stephen C. Daffron as President and CEO
(firmenpresse) - BEDFORD, MA -- (Marketwired) -- 09/12/13 -- Interactive Data Corporation ("the Company") today announced that it has appointed Stephen C. Daffron as President and Chief Executive Officer ("CEO"), effective September 20, 2013.
Mr. Daffron, who most recently served as the Global Head of Operations and Technology at Morgan Stanley, assumes the President and CEO title from Mason Slaine, who will resume his previous role as Executive Chairman and be involved in the Company's strategy and business development activities.
"Steve's vast experience in senior positions at leading firms in the financial services industry brings leadership and management skills to the Company that will enable it to accelerate its growth plans and the introduction of new innovative products and services," stated Mr. Slaine. "He is a proven leader and I look forward to working with him on the next stage of the Company's growth."

Mr. Daffron most recently served as Global Head of Operations and Technology for Morgan Stanley and during his more than two decades on Wall Street has also held senior leadership positions at Renaissance Technologies Corp., Citigroup and Goldman Sachs & Co. Previously he was an officer in the U.S. Army serving in various command and staff positions around the world. He is a graduate of the U.S. Military Academy at West Point and also holds a Master of Business Administration, Master of Arts, Master of Philosophy and Doctorate of Philosophy from Yale University.
