International Fitness Trainer Modu Seye Raises 1 Million CFA for Vivre Ensemble

International fitness trainer Modu Seye visited his hometown of M'Bour, Senegal
this week to give back to the community, and in doing so this amazing
philanthropist raised 1 million dollars of Senegalese currency to assist a local
orphanage.
Los Angeles, California- International fitness trainer Modu Seye may be known
throughout the industry as one of the leading trainers in the world, but many
that know him personally know how important charity work is to Modu. Last week,
Modu took his nine-year-old son Abdoul back to the place that he was born,
M'Bour, Senegal. While visiting the area, Modu showed his son what it was like
to grow up in Africa, and ended their trip with an extensive visit to a local
orphanage.
International fitness trainer Modu Seye recognizes the importance of giving back
to those that are less fortunate. In Senegal, there are almost half a million
orphans in the country, and all of which are under the age of 14. This is a
large number of children that rely on local orphanages and support so that they
can survive. These orphans typically have one parent that is living, but the
families can't afford to take care of the children. Modu decided to donate t an
orphanage that was an hour and a half from where he grew up, located in the city
of Dakar.
Modu Seye and his son arrived at the Vivre Ensemble, which is operated by the
French, and supports 200 orphans. Before their arrival Modu had organized a
collection of milk, diapers, and medicine so that he could donate supplies as
well as money. Many of the newborns that reside at this orphanage will be
returned to their parents when they reach the age of 2 because they are less
expensive to raise. However, it is still hard for orphanages to find the
necessary supplies to care for all of these children.
International fitness trainer Modu Seye not only arrived with supplies but also
raised 1 million CFA for the Vivre Ensemble orphanage. This money will help the
orphanage purchase things that the children really need, as well as enabling
this orphanage to keep their doors open. Modu made sure to take his son with him
so that Abdoul could see his roots and where the roots of his family lie. There
are many societal differences between America and Africa and none are more
obvious when sitting in the orphanage in Senegal. Modu stated that it was
important for his son to know where he came from so he could appreciate all he
has, and learn about his background.
International fitness trainer Modu Seye is generally shaping bodies in the gym,
but he enjoys using his social status to give back to those in need. It's great
to see celebrities that are interesting in giving back to the community and
