Pan Orient Energy Corp.: Resignation of Director
(firmenpresse) - CALGARY, ALBERTA -- (Marketwired) -- 09/17/13 -- Pan Orient Energy Corp. ("Pan Orient" or the "Company") (TSX VENTURE: POE) announced today that Mr. Paul Wright has resigned from the board of directors of the Company. Mr. Wright was the Chairman of the Audit Committee of the Company. The Company would like to thank Mr. Wright for his valuable and consistent contribution as a Pan Orient director and Chair of the Audit Committee for six years.
Mr. Michael Hibberd, an independent director of Pan Orient since 2005, is resuming the role of Chairman of the Audit Committee, a position that he previously held with Pan Orient.
Pan Orient is a Calgary, Alberta based oil and gas exploration and production company with operations located onshore Thailand, Indonesia and in Western Canada.
