Thermador Kitchen Design Challenge Offers $100,000 Prize Purse
Designers, Builders, Architects Invited to Submit Their Most Luxurious Thermador Kitchens by March 1, 2014
(firmenpresse) - IRVINE, CA -- (Marketwired) -- 09/17/13 -- Thermador, the American luxury kitchen appliance brand that offers real innovations for real cooks, is giving away $100,000 in prizes for the most luxurious, bold and inspiring Thermador kitchens submitted into the . Designers, builders, architects, remodelers and kitchen dealers are called upon to enter Thermador kitchens completed in 2012 or 2013 by the March 1, 2014 contest deadline. As Thermador wants to celebrate the most breathtaking kitchens designed over the two-year period, there is no limit on the number of entries that may be submitted by a single person or firm.

"Through the Thermador Kitchen Design Challenge we aim to spotlight and award the many talented professionals who continue to innovate within the kitchen alongside our brand."
Following , this year's contest has expanded to include a larger prize purse, as well as . The field of regional winners will be doubled from eight to 16, and the contest has been opened to include design firms rather than only individual designers as in years past.
The 16 regional winners will consist of two from each of the contest's six regions, and four from any region for best use of built-in refrigeration
Each of the 16 regional winners will receive a $2,500 cash prize and an expense-paid trip for two to Southern California to attend an exclusive award gala hosted at the Thermador Experience & Design Center
Five national winners will be selected from the 16: a winner and a runner-up in each of the contest's design categories, as well as a national winner for best use of refrigeration
The five national winners will divide a grand prize package of $60,000 in prize money
Entries may only consist of kitchens featuring Thermador appliances and must have been completed in 2012 or 2013. The contest has no entry fee, and participants may visit to read the official rules and enter. Entry forms may also be downloaded from the Thermador website or obtained from local Thermador dealers.
The contest is open now through March 1, 2014. The winners will be announced June 30, 2014, with the awards event taking place in fall 2014.
