San Diego Ad Club Announces Brand Diego Award Nominees
The Brand Diego Awards to Honor San Diego Companies and Individuals
(firmenpresse) - SAN DIEGO, CA -- (Marketwired) -- 09/17/13 -- The San Diego Ad Club is inaugurating a new, exciting awards program entitled The Brand Diego Awards highlighting the club's ongoing commitment to the San Diego business community and in support of the advertising and marketing industry in our region. The 63 nominees were announced for 14 Brand Diego Awards plus nominees for the Paula Sullivan Lifetime Achievement Award.
According to Tonya Mantooth, executive producer at Mantooth Studios and 2013/14 president of the San Diego Ad Club, "The Brand Diego Awards will showcase excellence in each facet of our business including agencies, brands, media and affiliated partner companies. With 68 nominations for 14 awards, you'll see some of the best of the best in San Diego's advertising community."
Co-chairs for The Brand Diego Awards are also co-chairs of the San Diego Ad Club Board of Directors Jonathan Bailey, i.d.e.a. and Melissa Lopez, Mindgruve. "We're very proud of the San Diego business community leaders who agreed to judge the inaugural Brand Diego Awards," said Bailey. "They represent a broad base of the San Diego businesses and have an extraordinary commitment to our city," added Lopez.

The nominees for are: Nicole Abraham, Ladeki Restaurant Group; Ted Molter, The San Diego Zoo, Darrell Pilant, Harrah's Rincon Casino & Resort; Kat Smith, Petco. And there are three nominees for Dive at Harrah's Rincon Casino, GetItFree.us, and GovX.
nominees for a Brand Diego Award include: 88.3 KSDS-FM, Cox Media, KPBS, KSON, NBC, Univision Radio, and UT San Diego. And nominees include: Delana Bennett, Star 94.1; Chuck Dunning, XETV, Dick Kelley, NBC; John Lynch, UT San Diego.
Nominees for the are: Del Mar Fairgrounds, Jerome's Furniture, Univision Radio. And nominees are: Al Delino, Al Delino Design; Ivan Jurado, Univision Radio; and Philip Wilkinson, Entravision (til 2012).
