-4 MW-microturbine-plant for shopping center in the Russian city of Sochi
-Trigeneration-project (Coupling of power, heat and cooling)

Berlin 10th May 2011 – GGC Energy s.r.o., a 50% subsidiary of listed Greenvironment plc (WKN: A0YEKX / Symbol: GIV), signed a supply agreement for the delivery of a 4 MW-microturbine plant this week. The order volume amounts to 6.5 million Euro.

Contracting entity R7 Group, a Russian building company that also owns multiple hotels and another shopping center, with an area of approximately 12.000 square meters, in Adler, a district of Black Sea city Sochi. Next to this center „Novy Vek“ („New Century“), a new shopping center with an area of 30.000 square meters, as well as an office tower with estimated 14 floors (10.000 square meters office space), will emerge.

Contractor for the required power house is ENKOM a.s. (www.enkom.cz), a Czech engineering company, with long-time experience in the construction and sale of power plants in Russia. Greenvironment's subsidiary will deliver the whole energy solution for this center. This includes without limitation four C1000 Capstone-microturbines, heat exchangers, supplementary vessels and chillers. ABB's Czech subsidiary (www.ABB.cz) will assure the projects' complete automation. Assembly and commissioning will be carried out by Russian Capstone-distribution partner BPC Group (www.bpcgroup.ru) as well as additional regional companies.

Within the limits of this two-stage-project, it is planned to put the first microturbine into operation in the fourth quarter of 2011. Further three microturbines will be implemented in the summer of 2012. The project will be funded by banks and investors in the Czech Republic and Russia.

Richard Benda, CEO of ENKOM AG, comments: ”Microturbines have outstanding performance capabilities especially in cases, where demanding heat load is part of the installation. In this case we will have not only heating need, but also chilling. We look forward to other future projects with Greenvironment.”

Matti Malkamäki, CEO of Greenvironment plc, states: "The lately closed growth financing enabled us to handle significantly larger projects. This project is also a good evidence of the cooperation possibilities with our valued Capstone partners in Europe and abroad. This being the first one with BPC I also look forward to continue developing business together further. We are very confident to win further major contracts in the upcoming months due to the strong demand for CHP plants in Europe.”
