Sapphire SF: New Ultra Narrow Linewidth OPSLs at 488 nm and 532 nm
(PresseBox) - Coherent expands their Sapphire(TM) family of optically pumped semiconductor lasers (OPSL) with an ultra-narrow linewidth series: Sapphire SF. These lasers are available at 488 nm and 532 nm and feature single longitudinal output with a linewidth < 1.5 MHz and output powers up to 150 mW. Independent of wavelength and power class, Sapphire SF lasers are identical in form, fit and function. They provide a high quality, diffraction-limited beam (TEM00, M² < 1.1) with excellent pointing stability (< 5 µrad/°C), high power stability (< 2 %) and low noise (< 0.25 % rms). Sapphire SF is ideal for applications such as Raman spectroscopy, Brillouin scattering, holography, interferometry, metrology, inspection.
MATRIX Q-switched IR, VIS, UV Lasers for Micromachining and Marking
MATRIX lasers are optimized for cost-sensitive, high throughput applications with no compromise in process quality. They come with powers up to 10W at 1064 nm, 14W at 532 nm and 2W at 355 nm. MATRIX lasers are manufactured in a cleanroom environment using Coherent's PermAlign(TM) technology for optimal adjustment and fixation of optical components by soldering. Proven, long-lived components such as AAA(TM) pump diodes are incorporated. The laser heads are hermetically sealed. Together, these factors deliver an unmatched combination of excellent laser parameters (e.g. power stability < 2%, pulse-to-pulse noise typically < 2% rms, excellent pointing stability < 15 µrad/°C), long lifetime, high reliability and economy.
