Cuxhaven, September 19th, 2013 - The corporate bond (ISIN DE000A1R0741, WKN
A1R074) of the wind farm developer PNE WIND AG is now listed in the Prime
Standard for corporate bonds at the Frankfurt Stock Exchange and is
therefore included in the segment with the highest transparency standards.
This development follows on this week's increase of the corporate bond to
EUR 100 million, a step which now means that all eligibility requirements
for the segment have been met. Previously, the corporate bond was traded
only on the regulated market (Regulierter Markt).
The Prime Standard for corporate bonds, according to the German stock
exchange, is meant for recognised market leaders, who want to strengthen
their international competitive position and enhance their reputation with
a bond issue. There are currently ten corporate bonds traded in this
segment.
Martin Billhardt, CEO of PNE WIND AG, takes a positive view on the
development: 'Achieving the highest level of trust and transparency in
communication are very important to us and in this respect we are pleased
that our corporate bond - as with our share - is now listed in the Prime
Standard.'
Company profile
PNE WIND AG with its headquarters in Cuxhaven plans and realizes wind farm
projects on land (onshore) and on the high seas (offshore). In doing so,
its core competence lies in the development, planning, realisation and
financing of wind farms as well as their operation respective to a sales
with service agreement. To date, the Group has successfully developed wind
farms with a nominal capacity of approx. 2,000 MW.
In addition to its business activities in the established German home
market, the PNE WIND Group is increasingly expanding into dynamic growth
markets and is already represented through joint ventures and subsidiaries
in 14 countries in Europe, Africa and North America. In these countries
wind farm projects with a nominal capacity of approx. 5,000 MW are
currently being developed which are to be completed in the medium term.
In addition, PNE WIND AG is developing offshore wind farm projects, of
which four major projects in German waters have already been approved. An
entry into promising international offshore wind markets is also being
examined.
