Canadian REIT Income Fund Announces Distributions and Provides Update on Merger
(firmenpresse) - TORONTO, ONTARIO -- (Marketwired) -- 09/19/13 -- Canadian REIT Income Fund (TSX: RIU.UN) (the "Fund") announces a quarterly distribution for the quarter-ending September 30, 2013 in the amount of $0.1375 per unit. The Fund also announces an estimated special distribution in the amount of $0.03 per unit. The amount of the estimated special distribution will be confirmed by the Fund on or about October 3, 2013. Both distributions will be paid in cash on or about October 10, 2013 to unitholders of record on September 30, 2013.
The merger of the Fund with First Asset REIT Income Fund (the "Merger") will be implemented on October 1, 2013. In connection with the Merger, unitholders of the Fund will receive, on a tax-deferred basis, Class A units (Initial Sales Charge) of First Asset REIT Income Fund. Unitholders of the Fund are not required to take any action in order to be recognized as unitholders of First Asset REIT Income Fund.
