Second Baader Investment Conference brings companies face to face with
investors from over 25 countries
There has been tremendous interest in the Second Baader Investment
Conference, due to be held once again in the German city of Munich from
24-26 September 2013. Investors from 25 countries have accepted invitations
from Baader Bank to attend the conference and meet representatives from
companies in both Germany and Austria. As well as group presentations, the
bank has organised around 1,250 one-on-one meetings.
The hosts are expecting well over 700 guests, representing 118 listed
companies in Germany (DAX, MDAX, SDAX, TecDAX) and Austria and both
national and international investors. As such, the Second Baader Investment
Conference again offers a representative overview of the German and
Austrian equities markets.
'The fact that numbers have gone up by a significant margin shows that our
customers actively support the development of Baader Bank into one of the
top brokers in the German-speaking region,' according to Nico Baader, Head
of Capital Markets on the bank's Executive Board. 'We are particularly
delighted at the high level of interest shown by international investors,
many of whom we have been able to attract through our new subsidiary
Helvea,' adds Oliver Riedel, Co-Head Corporates&Markets. Baader Bank took
over the Swiss brokerage firm Helvea, which has branches in Geneva, London,
Montreal, New York and Zurich, on 2 August 2013. 'For our corporate
clients, the success of this conference is evidence of our potential in the
capital markets business,' observes Christian Bacherl, Co-Head Corporates&Markets.
