International Western Petroleum's Acquisition of International Western Oil provides access to new E&P opportunities

25(th) September 2013, London, UK - International Western Petroleum Corporation
(GXG Markets: IWPO), the GXG-listed oil & gas exploration and production
company, is pleased to announce that with its 100% stake of IWO completed, this
acquisition allows IWPO to have full access to new exploration and production
opportunities in the Central/West Texas region of the U.S.
IWO has prospected and secured several lucrative projects in the prolific Bend
Arch/ Fort Worth Basin region, which is approximately 120 miles long and 40
miles wide running from Archer County, Texas to the north to Brown Country to
the south.
Commenting, Dr. Benjamin Tran, International Western Petroleum's Chairman, said,
"This area has been one of the most active drilling areas of recent times and
IWPO's existing leaseholds have the potential of a 100 well drilling programme.
This could potentially be a great new piece of business for us."
IWPO believes that it now controls the most productive area of the prolific Bend
Arch region and is seeking to acquire larger positions in the Bend Arch region.
IWPO's CEO Ross Ramsey added, "IWPO is completing new drilling permits on a
number of deeper wells for its new project Bend Arch Lion. We consider ourselves
very fortunate to own this new leasehold, which is showing very significant
hydrocarbon anomalies, according to our recent hydrocarbon imaging studies."
