Lydian International Announces Resignation of Director

(TSX: LYD) ("Lydian" or "the Company"), a gold-focused mineral exploration and development company, today announced that Dr. Armen Sarkissian has resigned as a non-executive director of the Company. Dr. Sarkissian advised the Company that he has resigned from his position in view of his pending appointment to public office.

The Company would like to thank Dr. Sarkissian for his contribution and wishes him well in his future position.
