Affigent Awarded Prime Contract on DHS $3 Billion FirstSource II IDIQ Contract Vehicle
Affigent Will Provide Systems Integration Services to Minimize DHS IT Cost
(firmenpresse) - HERNDON, VA -- (Marketwired) -- 09/26/13 -- Affigent, a small business IT solutions provider and value added reseller (VAR), today announced that it has received a prime contract on the Department of Homeland Security's FirstSource II, a multi-agency, multiple-awardee Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (ID/IQ) contract.
Under the terms of the contract, which has a ceiling value of $3 billion and a performance period of five-years with two additional one-year option periods, Affigent will provide a full array of VAR services for IT commodities. This includes configuration consulting and design; systems integration; installation of multi-vendor equipment; customization of hardware or software; training; product technical support; product maintenance; and end-user support to DHS.
