Joanna Pacan joins the team at oha communication as a Trainee
Launch pad for an international PR career(firmenpresse) - Stuttgart (Germany), May 23, 2011 - Starting in May, Joanna Pacan (27) has been a Trainee in Consulting and Public Relations at oha communication. Within the framework of the training program, she will be focusing on planning and executing PR activities that are geared to international markets. Prior to oha communication, Joanna has gained experience at Bosch, Procter & Gamble and other agencies where she assisted clients with PR in the British and Polish markets.
Joanna Pacan discovered her enthusiasm for communication during a six-month internship in the marketing department at Bosch. Her focus there was on PR topics, during which she found that she had a definite zest for PR. "It"s a good feeling being able to help shape the image of companies and institutions," Joanna Pacan explains. Alongside her studies in economics and business administration at the University of Hohenheim, she also supported agencies in international client projects.
Born in Poland and raised in Germany, Joanna Pacan is also fluent in English - a good basis for the trainee program at oha communication. Every employee here has an international background, be it through origin, education, professional career, or spoken language. This forms the basis of learning on how to apply structures, instruments and processes of international communication during the trainee program.
"International communication is becoming increasingly important considering the ongoing globalization," remarks Oliver Frederik Hahr, director of oha communication in Stuttgart. "Overcoming linguistic hurdles is only part of the job. It"s also about developing sensitivity for culturally differing perceptions of the world and about controlling complex communication processes."
