SafeGuard World International Raises £3,200 for Macmillan's Cancer Support
(firmenpresse) - SANDBACH, UNITED KINGDOM -- (Marketwired) -- 10/01/13 -- SafeGuard World International (SGWI), a leading provider of global managed payroll and global employment outsourcing, joined forces with the World's Biggest Coffee Morning on Friday, 27 September, to help raise funds for the Macmillan's Cancer Support Charity.
SGWI Global Corporate Headquarters in Sandbach, Cheshire in the U.K., successfully raised £3,200, thanks to the valiant efforts of the local staff members, and donations made by its employees from around the world, who are affectionately known as "guardians." There was a Tombola, a raffle, and a delicious variety of cakes, baked goods and homemade jam, all prepared personally by the SGWI guardians.
The World's Biggest Coffee Morning is Macmillan Cancer Support's largest fundraising event. Every year, local business and individuals in the UK host a coffee morning, where donations are made to Macmillan. In 2012, over 115,000 people signed up and raised a record £15 million.
