New, high-performance window film for external use increases property values

Helios 80 offers a high level of heat protection. Thanks to its high heat absorption index, indoor temperatures can be significantly reduced. This benefits not only the occupants of the building, who can enjoy noticeably lower energy bills, but also the environment. The high level of UV and IR (infrared) blocking also helps to preserve furniture and fittings inside the building from fading and bleaching caused by exposure to sunlight. In addition, the film can provide a comfortable indoor temperature, even without any air conditioning.
Residential, commercial and other building users who install Helios 80 continue to enjoy an almost unaffected view of the outside world. At 77 % visible light transmission, only a little lower than clear glass, the transparency of this high-performance window film is exceptionally high, whilst its level of reflection is no higher than that for plain glass. The appearance of the building remains unaffected. This is a major aesthetic benefit, especially for historic and protected buildings whose outer appearance cannot be changed.
A study from the University of Padua, recognized worldwide, confirms the exceptional performance of the Helios films, using another product in the Helios range. The films have proven their value in many sites around the world.
Helios 80 film can be used in many different ways. This high-performance outdoor film can be used on single, double or triple glazing as well as glazing with a Low-E coating. The Helios 80 film coating is exceptionally tough and scratch-proof, and its water- and oil-repellent properties mean it can also make your windows easier to clean. Dirt does not adhere easily to the film surface, and rain washes it away more easily.
