CAN-MNCH was launched in 2010 through the Muskoka Initiative, after the Government of Canada made a strategic investment aimed at improving worldwide maternal, newborn and child health. At United Nation's meetings last week, the Prime Minister announced $203.55 million for nine new projects with a global reach.
