Day & Zimmermann Earns NCCER Accreditation
(firmenpresse) - PHILADELPHIA, PA -- (Marketwired) -- 10/04/13 -- Day & Zimmermann (D&Z), the century-old, family-owned provider of construction and engineering, staffing and defense solutions for leading corporations and governments around the world, has been accredited by the National Center for Construction Education and Research (NCCER).
NCCER is a highly respected not-for-profit education foundation created by the construction industry to develop standardized curriculum with portable credentials and to help address the skilled construction workforce shortage.
The accreditation enables D&Z to provide workforce training programs with NCCER content, administer assessments to evaluate the knowledge of an individual in a specific craft area, and conduct performance verifications based on skill level and access. To further advance workforce selection, D&Z now has access to NCCER's online National Registry of craft professionals with industry-recognized credentials.
