(firmenpresse) - LONDON, UNITED KINGDOM -- (Marketwired) -- 10/07/13 -- The Federation of Saskatchewan Indian Nations delegation will mark the 250th anniversary of the Royal Proclamation of 1763 with a ceremony at the Canada Memorial in Green Park, London this morning. A brief reception will held at Canada House in Trafalgar Square followed by the Pipe Ceremony at 10:00 am. The delegation will honour the relationship of Treaty First Nations' relationship with the Crown in Green Park at the Canada Memorial (just inside the Canada Gate) at 10:00 am.

Details:

8:30 am-9:30 am - Tea/Coffee Reception at Canada House in Trafalgar Square

10:00 am - Pipe Ceremony at the Canada Memorial in Green Park (just inside the Canada Gate)

2:00 pm - Viewing of original documents associated with the Royal Proclamation of 1763 at the National Archives at Kew Gardens

Limited space may be available to members of the press aboard the FSIN shuttle for the trip to the National Archives. Please contact the Delegation Contact (UK) for details.
