South Florida Ad Agency Wins Gold for Medicare Managed Care Campaign

The Aster Awards, hosted by Marketing Healthcare Today magazine, recognizes the nation's most talented healthcare marketing professionals for outstanding excellence in medical-related marketing. The Weinbach Group won for advertising it developed for Jackson Health Plans' Medicare Advantage Plan operated by Jackson Health System, the largest public hospital system in the U.S.
"Medicare Advantage plans all over the country are in the midst of a major ad blitz to get new members, and most of the ads look identical to one another," said Daniel Weinbach, chief operating officer of the . "The campaign we developed for Jackson felt fresh and spoke to Jackson's ethnically and culturally diverse audience, including Spanish speakers."
The Weinbach Group's winning entries included a series of direct mail pieces, a newspaper insert, and Spanish-language ads targeting Hispanic seniors and their families. The agency developed the "Good Life/Buena Vida" campaign in less than 45 days, immediately after winning a competitive bid to serve as agency of record for Jackson Health System. Despite facing a seemingly impossible deadline, the agency launched the award-winning campaign on the first day of the Medicare Annual Enrollment Period.
In addition to its three Aster Award wins, The Weinbach Group won nine awards in Healthcare Marketing Report's annual competition for work it created on behalf of other clients, including Tampa-based HealthPlan Services and The Renfrew Center, the nation's largest network of mental health treatment facilities for women with eating disorders.
